NC leader Bishwokarma regains consciousness after six days

Tests COVID-19 negative



KATHMANDU: NC leader and lawmaker of federal parliament Min Bahadur Bishwokarma has regained consciousness after six days.

According to Grande Hospital’s sources, leader Bishwokarma’s coronavirus test also has come out negative denoting he has got withstood the COVID-19 attack this time.

The President of Nepal Dalit Sangh, Bishwokarma had tested coronavirus positive on October 1 and had joined Bir Hospital after nine days in home isolation.

When his health further deteriorated, he was shifted to Grande Hospital where he has been receiving treatment on a ventilator since Saturday.

The hospital sources informed that his health is improving and the lungs have started functioning.
