KATHMANDU: A 66-year-old man infected with coronavirus has died at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital in Baglung district on Tuesday morning.

Originally from Baglung municipality-3, the sexagenarian passed away in the course of treatment at 10:20 am today, said Chief Medical Superintendent of the hospital Shailendra BK.

He had been admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital with respiratory complications. He was being treated on ventilator at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after his condition deteriorated.
