217 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU

31 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 217 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 31have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 22 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 17 in Province 2, 116 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 37in Province 5, 16 in Karnali Province and three in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that two in Province 1, one in Province 2, 24 in Bagmati and four in Province 5 are on the ventilator support.
