Bhattarai slams govt for not focusing on pandemic

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said the government’s focus was on managing the election losers rather than controlling the pandemic.

While meeting media persons on strike with various demands, Bhattarai said that the government had played an irresponsible role by wasting time in managing the losers.

He said that the government has not been able to pay attention to the people who are starving due to the pandemic.

Bhattarai said that such an attitude of the government would lead to the disintegration of the state system and invite a wave of regression.
