NC office-bearers holding meeting at Sanepa

KATHMANDU: Office-bearers of the main opposition Nepali Congress are holding a meeting at the central party headquarters in Sanepa.

According to a Nepali Congress leader, the meeting which began at 10 am is dwelling on agendas to be discussed in the meeting on Monday (October 5) and the issues related to internal party disputes.

Present in the meeting are President Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice President duo Bimalendra Nidhi, Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, General Secretary duo Shashanka Koirala, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat, former Vice President Gopal Man Shrestha, former General Secretary duo Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula.

The office-bearers discussed endorsing the decision to extend the term of sister organizations and work-schedule of the national convention of the party, said the NC leader.

The discussion also touched upon the management of new entrants including Sunil Bahadur Thapa, who recently joined the NC from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, in the party.

Similarly, the meeting will also discuss the memorandum submitted at the central party office by senior leader Paudel, among others.
