Gandaki State sees 17 new cases of coronavirus

KATHMANDU: The Gandaki State has witnessed 17 new cases of coronavirus infection.

With this the number of people contracting the virus has reached 4,003 in the State, shared director of Gandaki State Health Directorate and spokesperson of Gandaki State Corona Control and Prevention Program Dr Binod Bindu Sharma.

The infected include 10 of Kaski, five of Gorkha and two of Tanahun.

As many as 2,831 infected have so far recovered in the State while 33 succumbed to the infection.

According to the directorate, the number of active cases of the coronavirus has surged to 1,139 in Gandaki State. —
