Three injured as truck plunges into Trishuli



CHITWAN: Three people have sustained injuries after a truck fell into the Trishuli River near Kurintar at the wee hours of Saturday.

According to District Police Office, Dhading, the truck, Na 5 Kha 9622, plunged in the river while it was heading to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa at Ichchhakamana rural municipality-4, Kurintar at 4 am today.

The injured are truck driver Rohit Tamang, 27, helper Raj Kumar Lopchan and Arjun Rumba of Dhading Galchhi rural municipality, said police.

The condition of Rumba among those injured is said to be critical. He is undergoing treatment at Highway Hospital at Malekhu, Dhading, said police.
