40-yr-old woman dies of COVID-19 in Chitwan



CHITWAN:  A 40-year-old woman has died from coronavirus at Chitwan Medical College in the district.

According to Prof. Dr. Harishchandra Neupane, the Managing Director of Chitwan Medical College, a coronavirus-infected woman of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 died in the course of treatment.

The woman had been admitted to the hospital on August 21 and her swab screening report came out positive on August 26.

According to the hospital, she passed away at 12:40 am today.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus in Chitwan district has reached 18.
