COVID-19 cases cross 5000-mark in Province 2

JANAKPUR: Coronavirus cases in Province 2 have crossed 5000-mark.

On Monday alone, 103 infections were added. With this, total cases in the province stand at 5,009.

According to Vijay Kumar Jha, Senior Public Health Administrator at the Ministry of Social Development, the infection has been confirmed in 38 people in Parsa in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, Dhanusha and Mahottari districts reported 30 cases each while coronavirus infection has been confirmed in three people in Bara, one in Siraha and one in Sarlahi.

Eleven people have been discharged from the hospital in Province 2 today.
