Couple killed as landslide buries house in Panchpokhari of Sindhupalchowk



SINDUPALCHOWK: A husband and wife have died when a landslide buried their house in Panchpokhari Thangpal village of Sindhupalchowk district.

According to the District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, Yagya Bahadur Chhetri, 49, and his wife Laxmi Silwal Chhetri, 48, of Gangkhor died in the landslide.

According to spokesperson DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle, they were buried in a landslide that came from above the house while they were sleeping at night.
