Coroanvirus cases climb to 1,063 in Gandaki Pradesh

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has reached 1,063 in Gandaki Pradesh after 32 new cases were reported on Friday morning.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, the newly infected are 19 from Nawalparasi East, nine from Tanahun, three from Parbat and one from Baglung.

Among those infected are four women and 28 males including a minor.

According to Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the Spokesperson for COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh, 11 infected aged19 to 49 are males and three females aged 23 to 40 are from Kawasoti of Nawalparasi East.

Similarly, 10-year-old boy, three males aged 24, 28, 33 and 30-year-old woman have been infected in Madhyabindu, two males aged 22 and 34 from Bhimad of Tanahu district and seven males aged 23 to 47 have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, said Sharma.

Likewise, among those infected are three males from Bihadi, Phalebas and Paiyun and 21-year-old man from Jaimini of Baglung, according to Sharma.
