PM Oli, Bamdev meet ahead of Secretariat meeting



KATHMANDU: Vice-chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bamdev Gautam has reached Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister KP Oli.

The meet comes ahead of the Secretariat meeting of the party slated for4 pm on Saturday afternoon.

During a Secretariat meeting held on Wednesday, PM Oli had said he would resign once the coronavirus pandemic subsides and had proposed Vice-chairman Gautam as the Prime Minister. Similarly, he had proposed leader Nepal as the party Chairman.

Following the proposal, Gautam had held consultations with legal practitioners regarding constitutional provisions.
