Coronavirus kills 24,824, infects 242,988 in Spain



KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 242,988 after the United States of America (USA).

The country reported 3, 648 infection cases, 281 deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 24, 824 have died due to the novel virus as of Saturday morning.

Currently, 75, 714 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 2,500 are critical.

Meanwhile, 142, 450 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 239,408 and infecting 3,398,073 people as of Saturday morning.
