France reports 24, 594, deaths, 167, 346 infection cases



KATHMANDU: France has reported 218 deaths in the last 24 hours taking to death toll to 24, 594 deaths as of Saturday morning.

According to reports, the number of infection cases has surged to 167, 346 after 168 new cases were reported.

Currently, 92, 540 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 3, 878 are critical. Meanwhile, 50, 212 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 239,408 and infecting 3,398,073 people as of Saturday morning.
