Coronavirus kills 1, 223, infects 37, 257 in India

KATHMANDU: India has reported 1, 223 deaths after 69 died in the last 24 hours as of Saturday morning. With 2,394 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 37, 257.

Currently, 26, 027 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 10, 007 have returned home after recovery. The India government has performed tests on 902,654 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 239,408 and infecting 3,398,073 people as of Saturday morning.
