Death toll in UK climbs to 27, 510 after 739 die in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus pandemic in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 27, 510 after 739 died in the last 24 hours as of Saturday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer,  with 6, 210 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 177, 454.

Currently, 149, 600 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 239,408 and infecting 3,398,073 people as of Saturday morning.
