Deleting news by web developer a step to curtail press freedom: Kathmandu Press



KATHMANDU: Kathmandupress.com has expressed a stern objection to an act of a web developer deleting news posted on the news portal.

Issuing a statement, the news portal that is operated by Demopublic Media Pvt. Ltd. accused Siran Technologies of deleting news regarding involvements of sons of Defense Minister and PM’s Press Advisor in the procurement of medical supplies at a hefty price.

Siran Technologies is a company assigned for the development and designing of the news portal.

The news portal said that it has taken the action as a step to curtail press freedom.
