Amid coronavirus scare, govt urges all to cancel foreign trips

KATHMANDU: The government has requested foreign-bound Nepalis to travel only in the case of an emergency to prevent them from contracting coronavirus.

Speaking at a press meet organized on Monday, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali also urged Nepalis not to go for foreign employment too.

“We would like to request all not to embark on foreign trips for study or travel,” Minister Gyawali said.

He added that no objection letter will not be issued to students for the time being.
