KATHMANDU: Dr. Gunakar Bhatta has been appointed Spokesperson of Nepal Rastra Bank.
He was appointed as the Spokesperson in place of outgoing Spokesperson Laxmi Prapanna Niraula, who is retiring due to age bar. Niraula is currently on leave before retirement.
According to NRB sources, Dr. Bhatta has assumed the office since January 1. Dr. Bhatta is the Executive Director of the Research Department of the NRB.
