APF registers first win in ‘A’ Division League



KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force (APF) Club on Thursday registered its first win in the Martyr Memorial ‘A’ Division League.

At the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex, APF defeated Saraswati Club 2-1. Saraswati is still winless in the competition.

Aashish Lama scored the opening goal for APF in the 63rd minute of the game. He added another goal in the third minute of the injury time.

Binod KC of Saraswati scored a goal one minute later.

APF has been placed 10th in the points table with four points from four matches.
