KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast rain in some parts of western and central regions and snowfall in highlands in the country.
According to Manju Basi, a meteorologist, areas around Baitadi, Doti and Dadeldhura are currently witnessing light rains and snowfall is occurring in highlands.
Partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in central and eastern regions today.
Similarly, cloudy weather is likely throughout the country with chances of rain and snowfall on Friday due to westerly wind, according to Basi.
Meanwhile, doctors have advised people to wear warm clothes and take warm soups to protect themselves from cold.
