Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane recovers from COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Nepali young cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has recovered from COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter, Sandeep has informed that he has been recovered from COVID-19 in 10 days.

He was in isolation after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

Sandeep has thanked his supporters for wishing him a speedy recovery and said he was in a hurry to return to the field. Sandeep also said that he will do well for his team.

Earlier, Captain Gyanendra Malla, vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airy, Rohit Kumar Poudel and Basanta Regmi had also recovered from COVID-19.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has been keeping the team on closed-door training since last week in anticipation of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
