India reports 500 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hrs



NEW DELHI: India recorded 36,456 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,499,710.

Currently,429,753 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,931,798 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 138,100 mark.

With 500 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 138,159, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
