Chitwan records two additional COVID-19 deaths

CHITWAN: Two additional people have died due to COVID-19 in the course of treatment at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district.

The deceased are 79-year-old man of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 and a 61-year-old woman of Dhading, said the hospital administration.

The septuagenarian, who had been hospitalized on November 1 after testing positive for COVID-19 on October 29, succumbed to the virus at 1:20 am today, informed Leela Dhar Paudel, the information officer of the hospital.

Similarly, a 61-year-old woman of Nilkantha municipality-3, of Dhading died at 2:55 am today.

She had been admitted to the hospital on October 21.
