India’s COVID-19 cases cross 8.2 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 46,441 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,229,322.

Currently, 563,775 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,542,905 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 122,600-mark.

With 493 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 122,642, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
