Coronavirus infected man dies on way to hospital



SIRAHA: A man suffering COVID-19 has died here on the way to the hospital on Friday.  The deceased is a 55-year-old man of Sukhipur Municipality-2 in the district.

He was undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Medical College with the support of a ventilator and being taken to Birat Medical College for further treatment.

He breathed his last in the ambulance- on the way to the hospital.  He was tested positive for COVID-19 in course of treatment last Thursday.

With this, the total deaths caused by the COVID-19 have reached 14 in the district.
