One more succumbs to COVID-19 in Saptari



SAPTARI: One more person died of the coronavirus infection in Saptari district on Friday.

Chairman of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality Satish Kumar Singh said that the deceased is a 68-year-old man from Ward No. 5 of the rural municipality.

Singh said that the man was admitted to Neuro Hospital six days ago after suffering from pneumonia.

Meanwhile, a 48-year-old man from Saptari district died of the virus on Thursday evening while receiving treatment in Bhaktapur Hospital.

With this, the total number of fatalities caused due to Covid-19 reached 18 in Saptari district, according to the Health Office.
