Rupandehi records one additional COVID-19 death

BUTWAL:  One more person has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Butwal COVID Special Hospital in Rupandehi district.

A 40-year-old man of Sainamaina municipality-7, Ramapur succumbed to the virus at 11:50 pm yesterday night.

“A 40-year-old man infected with coronavirus died in the course of treatment at COVID Special Hospital at 11:50 am on Thursday,” said Dr Bishnu Gautam, information officer of the hospital.

The patient had been admitted to the hospital on September 29 after being diagnosed with the virus few days ago.

With this, the number of coronavirus deaths in Rupandehi district has reached 25.
