Chitwan reports 25 new COVID-19 cases including 2-yr-old minor

CHITWAN: Twenty-five additional coronavirus cases including a two-year-old minor boy have been reported in Chitwan.

The new cases were confirmed during PCR tests at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital on Thursday night.

Among those infected, 13 males and four women are from Bharatpur, five males from Khairahani and one man and  a woman from Ratnanagar, according to a press note issued by the hospital.

The infected include three minor boys below four years of age and a 66-year-old man, the hospital said.

The remaining infected is a woman from Sitganga of Arghakhanchi district, informed Dr Nitu Adhikari, chief of COVID-19 laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital.
