KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has reached Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar to hold talks with Prime Minister and another Chairman of the party KP Oli.
According to Baluwatar sources, NCP Chairmen duo Prachanda and PM Oli are holding talks on contemporary politics, basically on power-sharing among others issues.
The Secretariat meeting of the party is scheduled to be held at 11 am on Thursday.
The source claimed that the meeting of the chairmen is to discuss the report submitted by the task force formed to resolve the dispute in the party.
In addition to it, tomorrow’s meeting is likely to discuss on the issue of the party Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam’s growing interest to join the National Assembly.
Gautam, who had earlier refused to go to the National Assembly, has expressed his desire to go to the National Assembly again on Monday.
However, despite his earlier promise to Gautam, Prime Minister Oli is said to be in favor of giving continuity to Finance Minister Yubaraj Khatiwada.
