17-yr-old youth dies of COVID-19 at Bir Hospital



KATHMANDU: A 17-year-old boy has died from coronavirus in the course of treatment at Bir Hospital in the capital.

According to the hospital, the kin of the deceased had admitted him to the ICU of Bir Hospital after they found him hanging on August 26.

Originally from Sarlahi, the youth’s swab test report that came out on Tuesday confirmed him to have been infected with coronavirus.

His swab had been collected and tested at the laboratory of the hospital.

The coronavirus patient died in the course of treatment at the hospital this morning.
