Indefinite prohibitory order clamped in Bara



BARA: An indefinite prohibitory order has been clamped in the district from 5 am on Sunday morning to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Bara has witnessed a sharp surge in coronavirus cases for the past few days.

A meeting of the District Security Committee on Friday announced the prohibitory order arguing that cases could surge further.

People have been instructed not to leave the house except for urgent works.

Likewise, all local levels on the postal highway connecting Parsa and Bara districts, Kalaiya market area, Jitpur, Simara, Pathlaiya, Parwanipur, Nitanpur, Nijgadh, Kolhavi in Pathlaiya-Birgunj industrial corridor and Simraungadh, Bariyarpur and other rural areas will be closed until further notice.
