KATHMANDU: The Nepal Academy has decided to begin documenting the state-level history of Nepali poetry.
Academician at Literature Department at Academy, Professor Dr Hemnath Poudel, shared the information that Academy had begun writing history of Nepali poetry at seven states.
For writing the history, Professor Dr Bholanath Pokhrel has been assigned for State-1, Toyaraj Ghimire for State-2, Dr Gita Tripathi for Bagmati State, Professor Dr Yadunath Dhakal for Gandaki State, Dr Bindu Sharma for State-5, Professor Jagat Prasad Upadhyay for Karnali State and Shyam Sundar Dhakal and Badri Prasad Binadi for the Sudurpaschim State.
After the preparation of State-level history of poetry, Academy begin writing history of Nepali poetry, Poudel added.
