Jeep plunges into Trishuli River



DHADING: A jeep plunged into the Trishuli River on Thursday morning.

The jeep, most probably, heading toward Kathmandu, met with an accident at Mauwakhola along the Prithvi Highway and fell into the river.

SSP Kalidas Dhaubaji of Kurintar said that a local Sunmaya Chepang had noticed the incident and reported it to the police.

SSP Dhaubaji said a rescue team led by him was deputed in the possible sites and a search is on for tracking the submerged jeep.

However, the details of the jeep and the number of the passengers are yet to be ascertained.
