POKHARA: Police have arrested six gamblers, including two women in a raid on the basis of a tip off.

According to Subas Hamal, Spokesperson of District Police Office, Kaski, the gamblers were arrested from Titepani at Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 while they were gambling.

Police arrested Rima Gurung, 36, Leeladhar Subedi, 31, Muna Gurung, 41, Rajman Gurung, 30, Dil Prasad Gurung, 38, and Khem Gurung, 48.

Police also seized Rs 47,100 in cash from the gamblers’ possession.

Earlier, Kaski police had arrested 10 gamblers, including three women from different places of Pokhara.
