Nepal Army transfers 17 Brigadier Generals

KATHMANDU: Amid the anticipation about the Nepal Army’s mobilization to mitigate coronavirus pandemic, NA has transferred its 17 Brigadier Generals on Tuesday.

According to NA sources, Brig. General Anup Jung Thapa has been assigned the responsibility of Special Forces Brigade.

Similarly, Brigadier Generals Bishnu Rawat, Narayan Silwal and Johnson Khadka are assigned Brigade 26, Staff College and Brigade 28 respectively.

Brigadier General Chok Bahadur Dhakal has been sent to Artillery Directorate whereas Brig. Gen. Dinesh KC, Tika Ram Gurung and Prem Shahi have been transferred to 13th Brigade, National Service Brigade and Directorate of the Policy Planning respectively.

According to NA sources, Brigadier General Thapa is likely to get the responsibility of Aide de Camp brigade as well.
