COVID-19 cases jump to 262 in Karnali Province with 29 new cases



KATHMANDU: Twenty-nine new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the Karnali Province on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Social Development of the Karnali Pradesh, 29 additional coronavirus cases have been confirmed.

The infected people are 11 men from Birendranagar municipality, Surkhet, nine men from Darma rural municipality, Salyan, a 23-year-old boy of Mangalsen municipality-4, Achham and eight people including two women from Mallekh rural municipality-4.

The cases were confirmed after swab test results came out positive at the Animal Disease Investigation Laboratory, Surkhet.

With the confirmed cases, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 262 in the Karnali Province.
