18 COVID-19 patients discharged from BPKIHS

DHARAN: Eighteen coronavirus patients who were undergoing treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences have been discharged after recovery.

According to Hospital sources, a 51 year old female of Dharan-13, Sunsari and 17 males from Jhapa were discharged from BPKIHS on Monday evening.

Prof. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, the Head of isolation ward of the institute informed that after getting two consecutive coronvirus negative reports of PCR test they were discharged from the hospital.

There are five suspected and 80 confirmed coronavirus cases still receiving treatment at the hospital.
