Lightning kills two women in Rupandehi



RUPANDEHI: Two women were killed after being struck by lightning in separate places of Rupandehi district.

The deceased have been identified as 55-year-old Chayanmati Yadav of Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-2 and 50-year-old Kamalawati Yadav of Mayadevi rural municipality-5, informed DSP Khadga Khatri of District Police Office.

The lightning struck Chayanmati and Kamalawati in the vegetable farm and crop field respectively on Monday evening.
