JANAKPURDHAM: The government of State 2 has instructed all its 8 Chief District Officers to take action against private hospitals in the province denying treatment of the patients.

State 2 issued the instruction after people complained about the private hospitals’ apathy toward the patients, and denied to admit common cold and flu patients owing to coronavirus fear.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning directed all CDOs to take stern action against the private health facilities according to the law and to operate such institutions from the district level after taking them under-control which violates the law.

Likewise, the government has also warned of cancelling the licenses if the private hospitals failed to abide by the instruction.
