Hong Kong sets 155 runs target for Nepal in ACC Eastern Region T20

KATHMANDU: Hong Kong posted 155 runs target for Nepal in its second match of the ACC Eastern Region Men’s T20 Cup Cricket at Terdthai Cricket Ground, Bangkok on Sunday.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Hong Kong managed to get 154 runs on the board losing six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Nizakat Khan top-scored for Hong Kong at 48 runs as Aizaz Khan made 29 runs.

For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane and Sushan Bhari took two wickets each.

Nepal had lost to Malaysia by 22 runs in its first match on Saturday.

Nepal and Hong Kong have faced each other eight times in T20 matches in which Nepal and Hong Kong have won an equal four matches each.

Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong are taking part in the cricket tournament.

Being played under the round-robin format, the top two teams of the tournament will be allowed to play in the Asia Cup Qualifiers.
