New Indian Ambassador Kwatra arrives



KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Kwatra has arrived in Nepal on Sunday to assume his office.

He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 11 am where he was welcomed by officials at Indian Embassy in Kathmandu

Kwatra succeeded Manjeev Singh Puri, whose term ended in December-end.

He has already served as a joint secretary at the office of the Prime Minister of India and India’s ambassador to France.

He has also headed the Policy Planning and Research Division of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
