Power supplies disrupted in many parts of capital today



KATHMANDU: The power supplies remained disrupted in many parts of the Kathmandu Valley due to the Ring Road widening move.

According to Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the power supplies will be cut around Maharajgunj area since the trees on the roadside are being felled today.

The electricity distributed from Dhapasi feeder under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center of NEA has been cut since early today. It will remain cut until 4 pm.

The areas to be affected include, Samakhushi, Chowk, Ranibari, Gongabu Chowk, Tokha Road, Basundhara, Grande Hospital among others.

The road widening move is underway along Kalanki-Maharajgunj road section.
