KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that temperature is likely to go down further from today.

The westerly wind formed above Jammu and Kashmir entered western part of Nepal last night and is gradually surging towards the central region, said Barun Paudel, a meteorologist.

According to Paudel, this westerly wind is likely to cause snowfall and light rain in the mid-hill and highlands of the western and central parts of the country.

The temperature will go down throughout the country with chances of light rain in some parts of the country on Wednesday and Thursday due to this westerly wind.

Meanwhile, doctors have advised people to wear warm clothes, take warm soups and stay indoors as far as possible.
