NCP unification has reached a critical juncture: General Secretary Poudel



KATHMANDU: Minister for Finance and General Secretary of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bishnu Poudel has pointed out that NCP’s unification has reached a critical mode lately.

Sharing his opinion on social media Facebook, Poudel has appealed to the party leaders and supporters to play their part to keep the party intact as the unification has reached a critical juncture.

“The party unification has reached at a critical and serious mode now; the intraparty conflict should not lead the party to crevasse; I request all leaders, party members, and the well-wishers to play their part affirmatively to help the party find the way out from the crisis,” Poudel has said.

Poudel has appealed to all leaders, party members, and supporters to contribute to helping the party resolve the crisis through dialogue, a concrete action plan, and good understanding.

He has reminded the core principles that brought two parties together for unification and has further mentioned that in a short time after unification the serious and significant tasks including convening a general assembly within the first year of unification and strengthening the party structure and the whole organism so as to revitalize the party spirit could not get completed.

He has held the same factors responsible present crisis at the party.
