Lalitpur Police nabs Biplav outfit cadre for threatening police



LALITPUR: Metropolitan Police Circle Lalitpur has arrested a Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Biplav outfit’s Lalitpur leader on Saturday evening.

According to Lalitpur police, the arrested Sabitri Adhikari alias Vidushi had threatened to assault SSP Tek Prasad Rai, the Chief of Metropolitan Police Circle Lalitpur after the police had arrested Biplav outfit’s District Committee leader Sanu Bajracharya from Patan in June.

Adhikari, then, issuing a press release had vowed to physically assault SSP Rai.

She was nabbed from Patan while preparing for Sunday’s program in Patan.
