16 arrested from gambling den in Tanahu



TANAHU: Sixteen people have been arrested on the charge of gambling. They were arrested red-handed by police from the Chokmaidan in ward no. 10 of Bhanu municipality.

The police also recovered Rs. 48,270 in cash from the gamblers. The arrest was made acting on a tip-off received to the police, said DSP at the District Police Office, Tanahu Yubaraj Timalsena.

Those arrested are locals Arjun Upreti, Ram Bahadur Pariyar, Sunil Tamang, Ramesh Laudary, among others.
