KATHMANDU: The most auspicious hour for giving and receiving the tika of this year’s Dashain festival is at 10:11 am on October 26, the Nepal Calendar Determination Committee has stated.

Likewise, the auspicious time for Ghatasthapana, the first day of 10-day Dashain festival, is at 11:46 am on October 17.

According to the Committee, 10:53 am on October 18 is the most auspicious time to replace the national flag with the new one at the government offices and Nepal Army’s offices.
