KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 220 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 25 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 20 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 18 in Province 2, 108 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 52 in Province 5, 15 in Karnali Province and one in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam also said that three in Province 1, 19 in Bagmati and three in Province 5 are on the ventilator support.
