Man convicted of banking fraud nabbed



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man convicted of banking fraud from Thecho in Lalitpur.

According to SP Prajjwal Maharjan, Spokesperson of the Lalitpur Metropolitan Police, 60-year-old Hemkaji Maharjan Dangol, who was sentenced to a fine of Rs 16.5 million and three years imprisonment, was arrested on Thursday morning.

He was sentenced by the Patan High Court six years ago.
